Kitsap LGBTQ+ Families

Kitsap PFLAG Family,

The longtime organizers of Kitsap PFLAG have decided to officially close the local chapter. The chapter has endured through many highs and lows over the last couple decades but it doesn't feel like the right fit for the needs of Kitsap County LGBTQ+ families at this time.

The Kitsap PFLAG facebook groups will be renamed "Kitsap LGBTQ+ Families" and will continue to distribute news of local events and resources and to provide a place for local families to discuss or organize. The Kitsap PFLAG website will remain as a resource page. We'll work on changing the branding and the URLs soon.

PFLAG continues to be a great organization. It provides many essential resources and there are a lot of benefits to membership. If you would like to join or attend support meetings there are several active PFLAG chapters around the Puget Sound. Tacoma is holding monthly meetings downtown and can accommodate virtual participants. Seattle is holding online support meetings at this time. Bellevue/Eastside is holding meetings in both Bellevue and Bothell.
